Chilivuosi 2015 edessä. New year of chilies has arrived – 2015.

Olen jo useamman vuoden kasvattanut kotona chilejä. Chilin kasvatus on hauskaa puuhaa ja eri lajikkeiden kanssa kokeileminen on mielenkiintoista. Sadosta puhumattakaan. Käytän paljon chilejä ruoanlaitossa ja on tullut myös tehtyä mm. chili-vadelmahilloa. Nyt uuden chilivuoden alkaessa ajattelin laittaa pystyyn chili-blogin, jossa seuraan tänän vuoden sadon kypsymistä. Ohessa olevissa kuvissa on juuri saatu tämän vuoden chilisato koulittua. Nyt vain odotellaan kevättä ja toivotaa, että kesästä tulee aurinkoinen ja lämmin.

For many years I have grown chilies at my balcony and home. Growing chilies are fun and finding new varieties is interesting. And harvesting is fun too. I use lot of chilies at my cooking and it is always fun to try something new- like chili-raspberry jam. Sounds and tastes fun. New year has arrived and I thought it might be fun to share my hobby here in internet. Here is pictures of this years crop.
